meh... its interesting

its a good series and interesting plot but I believe it is way overdone at points. In the end, Rei really is the coolest character tho...

no she isnt, Gendo Ikari, Kaji, and misato were the coolest.

Gendo, a freak and probably petifile, also insane to the extent of world take over Kaji, a perverted coward who likes gardening Misato, a hopeless drunk who gets horny around men of all ages, and complete mess

Gendo: The only anime character to do what he did and get that close to actually sucseding. he outsmarted: Seel, the U.N, the japanese gov't, the U.S gov't, the german gov't and the chinese gov't and whatever organization kaji worked for. Kaji: is smart, came up with the plan to defeat the 7th angle, and convinced shinji to pilot the eva to fight the 14th angle. which saved everyones ass not once but, twice. Misato: The only one who actually managed to kill invading soldiers during End of EVA, She risked her life to stop jet alone, came up with the plans to destory the: 5th angle, 6th angle and 10th angle. She also led the the operations against the: 4th angle, 5th angle, 6th angle, 7th angle, 8th angle, and 10th angle. And if were judgeing the characters by there faults then you could say that Rei: is an emotionless, doll with no personality, humanity or will.
