I've picked up a job as a Machinist, making machine parts out of steel and aluminum blocks.
If I really felt up to it, and I had a fresh cutter in the machine, I could make a steel block taper by the diameter of a hair over a three meter length.

McDonalds might hire you if you mention Sue, her older sister is the manager of one near there.
The job market is pretty tough no matter where you end up though, only reason I got this machinist job is because it happens to be a trade skill that not many people have anymore and is a direct progression of my blacksmithing.

sues sister hates me. mentioning her would not get me hired.
i accidentally met the manager at wal=-mart and she over heard me talking to sarah about wantig to work there and that sarah thinks id do a good job (lucky she walked by at that moment eh?) she asked me my name and i think they will hire me once they need people. ^^ hopfully anyway. i hate working with my mom. and one of the many things that sucks about being a watress is that you have to work righjt through and only at dinner time all the while dealling with some AMAZING smelling food. nyaaaaarrr

I am on the hourly schedule, basically I arrive at whatever time I get there, clock in, and work until closing time. Tuesdays are my big day though, I will usually get there by 8AM and put in a full 8-hour workday.
Though I am in between shifts even on Tuesday, the normal first shift is 7:30AM to 3:30 PM, while I work roughly 8:00AM to 4:00PM
Likely once I train up a bit since I haven't really done this stuff since high school, I will see about getting in a later shift- I might even do the 3:30 to Midnight shift since it is more like the hours I am active most of the time.

and i work almost ever friday - saterday - and sometimes sunday. (rarely any other days, but it has happaned.
about 5 - 5:30 at the la-*test*-('") and stay till anywhere from 8:30 till 1:00 usually aboy 10:30 - 11:00
