Either eay, it is enough that I doubt bush could really take an action that would affect canada immeadiately and harmfully. Worst case scenario- War, Canada would probably beat the US since your natural resources are still relatively plentiful while we have used up most of our own. And to be honest of what I have seen of Canada so far while travelling I am quite impressed. Clearly you guys are doing something right that your more southerly neighbors aren't.

If the US went to war it'd be a hell of a fight.

OMGzus- 09-13-2007

Hey were bigger and were on top. If we were in prison the U.S. would be our Bicth

I'm so discusted by all of you it's not even funny.. 1) American troops haven't left Iraq because if they do the terrorists will just overcome the government there again. This is all like a replay of Hitler and a dictatorship gov't. The economy is weak in Iraq therefore easily manipulated. It would just start even more hardships for the citizens of Iraq. 2) BUSH IS A NAZI is a stupid statement and quoting South park certainly doesn't make your arguement compelling at all whatsoever. 3) Is there anything wrong with where you're living right now? hm? do bombs fly by nightly? Are buildings with thousands of people in them falling to the ground in the Americas anymore due to terrorist activity? no. know why? because WE ARE FIGHTING BACK. why wait for the fight to show up at our front steps, oh, and it would come to Canada my friends. Terrorists are religious extremists that think that anyone with another belief is EVIL AND SHOULD DIE.. they want ALL OF US DEAD. WHY do you guys continue to overlook that! WHY! WHY CAN'T SOMEONE JUST SAY TERRORISTS ARE BAD!!! WHY CAN'T YOU TELL ME YOU WANT THEM ALL DEAD!!! WHY!!!!??!?!??!`` The US and Canada are NOT going to fight.. it would destroy both economies whether you liked it or not. US are not our enemies.. terrorists are. George Bush is the leader of his country for a reason, someone put him there! HIS PEOPLE.. not all like him (Sean) but it's like that in our country too, fuck I hate Harper he's a weasel faced ass fuck! But you have no reason to critisize Bush's actions because the people and/or congress aprooved of them as well.. he's just a figure head, he doesn't come up with this all by himself! And he certainly isn't stupid and I'm SO tired of people saying that.. he got higher marks in University than his competition John Kerry did. In all I REALLY think you all should stop basing your opinions on liberalist TV and left-winged movies that are completely one-sided and focus on the big issue. There are bad people out there who want us all dead for no good fucking reason and they all have to die one way or another, they CANNOT be reasoned with because they are a different breed of human. They KILL THEMSELVES to kill us.. they see no value in human life and they all should die. Goodnight. I know I'm right. now, the next rebuttal I want to hear must not mention George Bush in any way, only terrorism, or else I'll just discard it as angry word vomit. I miss Sean, he put up better arguements.. GOD BLESS AMERICA.. they should have played their anthem too on the 11th. at school. I was pissed that they didn't.

1. I did not vote for bush, in fact only time I even bother to vote is when the school budget is up (I always oppose it since they waste so much money). The fact is politics is a choice between a thief, and a thief that lies about it. I would just as soon be rid of them, but someone has to act as this country's leader. 2. Bush is not stupid, actually if you look at it from his standpoint the terrorism and whatnot really was a convienient excuse to correct his daddy's mistake in Iraq back in the 90s, and in the process ensure the safety of the bush family's oil wells and refineries in Iraq. That's what this is really about, he is trying to ensure his family's fortune for the future. Read Machiavelli: The Prince. It's a renissance age book, but it explains a suprising lot about politics as we know it, and even some of the darker parts of human nature.. 3. The reason for the troops in Iraq is the Geneva convention. It would have been far cleaner and more efficient to simply assasinate Saddam Hussein without a full war. The Iraqies would have immeadiately gone to civil war, and a new dictator would have risen. You then blackmail and bribe that dictator untill he is docile and friendly to the rest of the world and defend him. If a dictator that is unfriendly is chosen by the people in civil war, then you assasinate him and repeat the process, all without revealing that youare the ones stirring it up. The fact is these people believe that dying for their religion is the most honorable death of all, especially if you take out 6 or 7 non-believers in the process. The only really effective means of eliminating terrorism is counter-terrorism, which would not be practical for a variety of reasons (Japan might do that though) or extermination of the entire lot, which no sane country or group will ever start pushing for, the rest of the would would rise up to oppose it

You all seem to forget that THE INVASION OF IRAQ WAS ILLEGAL. The United Nations told the USA not to go, but they did. there were NO terrorists in Iraq, because Saddam didn't like competition. There were NO weapons of mass destruction, which was Bush's reason for going in in the first place, and throughout his schooling, BUSH WAS A C+ STUDENT. The USA isn't even caring about Afghanistan, which is where bin laden is. They TRAINED Bin Ladin for Christ's sake! Oh, and out of the five major countries occupying Afghanistan, Canada is the ONLY one that hasn't recieved a terrorist backlash.

We're all well aware that invading iraq was totally illegal, but so far nobody has stepped up against bush to stop him. Probaly all those cowards in the government are too afraid that if they do he'll accuse them of being terrorists. He's got a good solid witch hunt going, it's going to be tough to stop him. Mostly Bush's real reason for going to Iraq is he wanted to finish what his father started, and that getting rid of Saddam Hussein and in the process securing access to the oil wells owned by the Bush family in Iraq.

UN doesn't do JACK SHIT. They write angry letters. They can piss off. Your method of assassinating people when they piss you off is total stupidity, sorry, but that's just dumb, that isn't how the world works dude. no. why would you bribe, blackmail and assassinate dictatorship gov'ts.. Dictatorships in themselves are bad and shouldn't be allowed, your method would destroy so much more of this world than necessary. And and Count-Terror Jap sounds like a gross fabrication, theres no way any country or society that was right in the head could ever be capable of doing that. moving on..

Dictatorships in themselves are bad and shouldn't be allowed, your method would destroy so much more of this world than necessary. And and Count-Terror Jap sounds like a gross fabrication, theres no way any country or society that was right in the head could ever be capable of doing that. moving on.. Or would it. People like to see ideal governments, but in reality an idealist government would have no power, nor would it be able to resist invasion and being conquered. Every government has it's own darker secrets, typically a black ops force, but also agencies like the secret service and CIA to use the US example, and the purpose of these is to accomplish the deeds necessary for government that if exposed publically would cause an uproar. I'm serious what I said before about reading Machiavelli: The Prince. It will explain a huge lot of what I mean, since that book and the ideas set in it are one of the underlying reasons for why modern politics is the way it is. A simple assassin against Hussein would have been the cleanest and most efficient in terms of the world, since once it was done the Iraqi's would have fought only among themselves to select a new government, mostly leaving other countries out of it. Yes the media would raise a fuss "OMG they're killing people over here", but since they like to kill people anyway, I would rather see it be each other in their own country than getting people from around the world involved in an impossible war against a people that don't like them, and actually making the way of life of the people they are trying to 'liberate' even worse than it was under totalarian control. Sorry, but this is real politics, the stuff they teach in schools is not applicable. The fact is these people that are behind the constant turmoil in the middle east believe that it is an honor to die for a cause, that to die in the name of Allah is the most honorable death possible, especially if they kill 'infidel' westerners like us in the process. You also have the different factions and tribes constantly at war, making it so that even if we do make a new government over there they will still be in constant civil war between factions trying to dominate the government. The only form of government strong enough to keep them under control for any length of time is a dictatorship or at least a strong monarchy, both of which free countries like the US and Canada would think are truly awful, but really might not be as bad as the media wants us to think- Hussein only killed those who he percieved as threats to his rule, the others really didn't live that badly untill we interfered. What I was referring to btw with japan counter-terrorism on them is the fact that in Japanese past there was the concept of Kamikazee, where you die by taking out as many of your enemies as you can. These terrorists are operating on a similar concept, and while I doubt even the japanese would attempt such a thing these days the fact is if any country was going to try it it would most likely be them- since it is a part of their past.

The System- 09-19-2007

japan wouldn't use kamikazee tactics anymore. Since WW2 their government went under a complete reform. they're quite peaceful now.
