transformers movie was awsome. the plot sucked, but it was never about the plot. Watch it just for the sheer pwnage of the battle sequences, transforming, and the humour.

And it is distorting the universe of a series that traces back to the comic books that my dad collected when he was a kid. GG, will they let an epic series rest in peace without distorting it to death with remakes?
Most recent movie I have seen is HP5, Sue and I saw it together. Not bad I think, excellent special effects in it.
My all-time favorite though, and it will never be beat, is Star Wars: Revenge of the sith (the third movie)

Revenge of the sith had awsome visuals, but it wasn't as great as the originals. Dooku, Mace Windu and Grievous were given horrible write-off deaths, along with those lame death scenes for the Jedi council members. Anakin was a pussy. Total pussy. When he put on Vader's mask, part of me died inside. The only redeeming parts of that movie were yoda, palpatine, and Obi-wan Kenobi.

transformers 2 will be released in 2009.
also they are making a new transformers tv series. and it will be the first one since beast machienes to be made in canada. but is set in detroit.
a couple points of intrest are the fact that the guy who played megatron in the last 5 transformers tv series will be playing optimus prime.
Also it will have the character blackarachnia. Her new design is ver similar to her original beast wars CGI model. what i find amussing is the fact that her beast wars design was inspired by an asian exotic dancer.

transformers wasnt very good. it's 1 of those movies that the only reason 4 seeing it is 4 the explosions. live free or die hard is better cause' it has the cool fights, explosions, AND a plot line

transformers had giant killer robots. it doesn't NEED a plot line. Action movies with heavy plot lines end up like Spiderman 3.
You know what I found out today? Optimus Prime's hand in the movie has 15 000 moving parts.
