anime club - 2008/09

anyone up for watching .hack//sign? what about witchhunter robin? i ordered both onlin and they should be in soon!^^ thats the whole season of both!

So, the first meeting will be an art room one? .hack and witchhunter robin are fine. Is our goal as an anime club to watch an entire series or to just watch a couple episodes. because I personally would be better at showing a couple episodes over showing entire seasons. Both full season and only a couple episodes work. Full seasons don't leave any cliff hangers but they are long and we might not be able to get through even a 12 episode series for 24 weeks if we only watch one episode of it at a time If we go with only showing a couple episodes then it wouldn't take quite as long and we could have an anime of the week. On the other hand we might actually run out of anime going like that. An alternative is to do both we could have an anime of the week (4 or 5 episodes) followed by either 1 episode of an on going series we 2 episodes of an on going series or 1 episode from 2 on going series. or 2 episodes from 2 ongoing series. (5 episodes is about 2 hours 9 episodes is 3.5 hours.) We also have movies we can bring in as well. And as a final question: how long do you plan for the anime club to run on the average day? (2 hours or 3.5)

we cat stay till 5, no later. we dont have enough stuff to chaunge every week, and i really dont like that idea, you cant get to the good episods of anythig or get attached. we definatly meed to show some movies, Hayo Miazaki!!! <3 <3 <3

But here's the thing... the club shouldn't just be sitting and watching. We should discuss shows, play games, and be active. Plus, at an episode or 2 a week, it is REALLY slow...

and then it gets even slower if it gets canceled for a week. Nick was upset when i told him he would have to wait a week to watch the next episode of Haruhi Suzumiya. And apparently his friend was interested in going as well.

Ummm... I know you can't officially extend it, but can't we unofficially extend it? You know, leave the school building afterwards, and just... loiter/chat? "Hang out" with purpose and organization. ;-}

yes, by all means but we risk getting in trouble. i guess we could go to the park or the library or something like that if we do have to leave the school

As long as we are off school property, we couldn't really get in trouble.
